How does it work?
SureSmile® was developed specifically for digital orthodontic treatment. Using i-CAT CT scan images a 3-D model of your teeth can be fabricated. This technology allows us to view your bite from any angle. Dr. Gandy uses i-CAT CT scan- generated digital models and SureSmile® computer simulations to determine the best treatment plan. Once Dr. Gandy finalizes your unique prescription, SureSmile® calculates the most efficient movement for each tooth, to create the beautiful, healthy smile you've always wanted.
The SureSmile® wire is custom-shaped by a robot. When the wire is inserted, each tooth moves directly to the prescribed position. It is this precise movement that enables such great results with a shorter treatment time.
With SureSmile®, patients spend less time in treatment and make fewer orthodontic visits. The custom archwires provide smoother movement for a more comfortable experience than traditional braces.
