At Gandy Orthodontics we aim to provide our patients with the absolute best orthodontic treatment. To that end, we are always looking for new advances in technology. The latest addition to our practice is the i-CAT 3D CT scanner. Rather than the 2-dimensional view of the standard x-ray, the i-CAT provides us with 3-D images. We are now able to view teeth, roots, and jaw joints from any angle. We can also evaluate jaw growth in any dimension.

We are the first orthodontic office in the surrounding area to have the i-CAT 3-D CT scan imaging. This incredible technology allows us to be more comprehensive in our diagnosis. Coupled with our DAMON® Braces and SureSmile® system, it can significantly increase the speed and accuracy of the orthodontic treatment that we deliver. i-CAT 3-D CT Scans of actual patients:

The accuracy of these images is over 10 times better than standard x-rays. We can also see details that are virtually impossible to see on a standard x-ray.
