Your First Appointment

Dr. Gandy and his entire team look forward to meeting you and beginning a relationship that will lead to a new, beautiful smile. During your exam, diagnostic records will be taken to aid Dr. Gandy with his orthodontic exam. Diagnostic records consist of photographs and necessary digital and 3-dimensional CT scans and x-rays. Dr. Gandy will perform a comprehensive orthodontic exam and determine what course of action, if any, is indicated for you or your child. He will also spend the time necessary to answer all of the questions that you may have regarding any possible treatment. We promise that you will find this appointment to be insightful and informative. If this is an appointment for your child, Dr Gandy feels that it is beneficial for both parents to attend this appointment when possible, to evaluate for any possible genetic predispositions.

We utilize digital/video and 3-dimensional imaging to help us diagnose and explain our findings and treatment plans. We also use visual aids to help you understand what orthodontic appliances look like and how they work. If orthodontic treatment is recommended, we will discuss the estimated treatment time and the fees associated with this service.
